What is FSPI? Solidarity Funds for Innovative Projects (FSPI) enable the French embassy to implement impactful actions to benefit local populations. With the title ‘French, Language of Communication and Capacity Building’, the FSPI project positions French as a language of communication in Nigerian schools and public spaces.

Our Mission:
“To promote the teaching and learning of French in Nigeria by training teachers, supporting media platforms, and modernizing educational resources.”
Direct Beneficiaries:
- 5,000 Junior Secondary School pupils (ages 11–15) from 50 schools in 5 states (Enugu, FCT, Lagos, Oyo, Plateau)
- 108 teachers from 50 pilot schools
- 12 journalist/presenters from 5 radio stations (Radio Maria, Armed Forces Radio, i-Flier Radio, Spirit of Nigeria Radio, University Campus Radio Badagry)
- 49 new teachers at Badagry French Village
